Working with amateurs

The How far project integrates a group of amateurs who met several days before the production. A first participative reading took place in 2020, in partnership with the Grette-Butte community centre in Besançon.

The projects are closely linked to the development of the company: in August 2021, in parallel with the creation of Nostalgie 2175, , Anne Monfort directed a one-week workshop on Bulbus by Anja Hilling as part of "La traversée de l'été" at the Théâtre National de Strasbourg.

The research projects are also an opportunity to share with amateurs: in June 2021, Anne Monfort directed a two-day workshop at the Studio-Théâtre de Vitry applying the principles developed during the Operation Caravaggio project research project to adapt a novel to the stage.

In April 2018, Anne Monfort and Silvia Berutti-Ronelt led a four-day workshop on contemporary German women authors at the Grande Académie de Printemps of the Terres de Paroles festival, bringing together adult amateurs and young students from theatre groups.

Anne Monfort also led a long workshop on the playwriting of Falk Richter with amateurs at the Théâtre du Peuple in Bussang in 2015.
