More than ever in 2024, the company day-for-night feels drawn to Edouard Glissant's term, ‘tout-monde’ (all world), with any topical questions that this expression raises - the transitivity of narratives and representation - who can play what, who has the right to tell what narrative, how can we work together to share memories, how can we make narratives travel from one space to another? The company is committed to bringing people together, working in close collaboration with performers from diverse backgrounds, and representing the world in the right artistic and political way, as keys to living the future with an awareness of our history.

The productions directed by Anne Monfort are marked by this positioning:
No(s) révolution(s) (No/Our Revolution(s)) in 2015-2016 brought together a German author and a Portuguese playwright, and French, German and Portuguese actors; the show was performed in all three countries, with the languages adapted according to the country where the show was staged. Anne Monfort also had an opportunity to translate and perform Tout coule (Everything Flows) at the Institut français in Bremen with the title Alles fliesst. Pas pleurer, by Lydie Salvayre, premiered in Barcelona and then in France in 2019, with a French actor and a Catalan actor, in French, Castilian and Catalan. Anne Monfort also worked with Nuria Gimenez Comas on the libretto for Shadows at the Liceu Opera in Barcelona, based on Jelinek's work. In 2024, a bilingual French-German version of Quart d’heure américain(The American Quarter Hour) was created, making the show accessible to French classes in Germany.
In these different experiments, the aim was to work on both the musicality of languages and the precision of meaning, seeking to convey these nuances primarily through play.

La compagnie mène aussi des actions de formation à l’international : dans le cadre du programme Accès Culture de l’Institut français en partenariat avec la compagnie Feugham (Cameroun) de 2023 à 2026. Lors de workshops au Queen’s College à Oxford (Royaume-Uni) en 2023 ou à la Manufacture de Lausanne en 2025 (Suisse).

The How far's substantial experience, spanning two continents and four countries (France, Guinea, Cameroon and Nigeria), has honed and nurtured the company's research. How far has invented its own mode of creation and production, to be as ethical and as artistic as possible: new actors are integrated into each re-creation, and close attention is paid to eco-responsible issues, particularly in terms of set design and international touring over the long term, encouraging real working encounters. There are two versions of the text: a French-language version with scores in English, and an English-language version with scores in French.

The company also operates in the French-speaking world, in West Africa, Switzerland and Quebec: Anne Monfort has worked with Quebec authors for the Guadeloupe association Textes en Paroles, which runs the Jamais Lu Caraïbes in conjunction with the Jamais Lu Montréal.
She also works in English and German-speaking networks - Anne Monfort is bilingual Franco-German and speaks English.

The company is keen to pursue and develop these various approaches on an international scale with groups, ensembles, troupes, and the promotion of singers and actors.
